On http://houseandhome.com/tv, H&H’s Joel Bray demonstrates how to make inexpensive and graphic wall art using a canvas drop cloth and three colours of …
Regularly people use gesso to prime the canvas before use it. But you use the primer sealer from Home Depot? Can the primer sealer replace the gesso?
the thing is we've been calling art any piece of crap… real art is MONET, VAN GOGH, BOTTICCELLI, MICHELANGELO, GOYA, LEONARDO DA VINCI, VELÁSQUEZ, TURNER, REMBRANDT, FRAGONARD, IL GRECO, GIOTTO, BOSCH, ETC.
that technique is what children do!
this reminds me what I did in elementary art class but on a large scale. cool
how did u hang it up?
definitely going to try this
Reminds me of Taco Bell night
I would have left the second pouring as it was and let the whole thing dry rather than fold it again. Armchair critic!
He is so cute!
Joel Bray is so talented
Love this idea xx.
I loved ur alluring painting
It looks like a blue and green vagina. Nothing bad about that, just saying.
can you make ideas for bed boxes? please
What do you use to hang that onto the wall?
I dig it. Also, definitely art. Inspired, skilled art? No. However, it is art in that the final product relies on the innate beauty of both the colors and the process. Could a "3 year old" do it? Yes, and it would be art by a 3 year old.
great idea! gonna do this! thanks man! 🙂
I liked the freeform style better than the symmetrical.
he is so hot omg
we used to make butterflies like this at pre school
i don't like it after you folded it. Looks like a 5 year old's school project
what paint brand is that you are using, can one use acrylic over those shades using different technique?
you ruined it when you folded it dude…
eehh…its kinda nice
This is a great project!
